BEAVERTON, Ore. – Former NFL player Stanley Wilson, who’s known for trying to break into homes naked, was arrested again May 23 in Beaverton, Oregon. This time police say he was trying to steal a vehicle from a Mercedes Benz dealership.
Officers responded to the dealership on after learning 35-year-old Wilson was trying to steal a vehicle.
Before police arrived, Wilson left the business and officers did not find him nearby.
Then, at 10:41 a.m., Wilson returned.
Officers tried to take him into custody, but he refused. They used K-9 Rizzo to help apprehend him.
Wilson was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for minor injuries and was then taken to Washington County Jail.
Police later discovered Wilson had also tried stealing a vehicle from the Infiniti dealership not far from the Mercedes Benz dealership.
Wilson faces charges of three counts of attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count of resisting arrest and one count of interfering with a police officer.
Wilson was arrested in February 2018 on charges of unlawful possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest.
He was also arrested in June 2016 when police say he was naked when he attempted to break into a Southwest Portland home and the homeowner shot him in the abdomen.
Wilson recovered and was charged with criminal trespass and attempt to commit a felony.
According to court documents, Wilson broke into several other homes in Southwest Portland before he was shot.
Wilson had a second nude run-in will police in January 2017. Officers found him running around naked and high outside a stranger’s home.
Then again in February 2017, police found Wilson naked again and say he had tried to break into a house, a backyard shed and asked a neighbor to have sex.
Wilson played college football at Stanford, and then went on to play for the Detroit Lions from 2005 to 2007.
